Ananda Solar Technologies is proud to announce the forming of a trust to help Light Up India: Ananda Energy Trust.
The formation of Ananda Energy Trust allows us to receive worldwide donations to help achieve our goal of electrifying rural Indian villages. A new website will be constructed to help show what villages have been electrified, are currently being electrified, and are scheduled to be electrified in future.
We are currently in the process of providing solar lanterns in a small village east of Jaipur. This will provide light for households that currently are using candles or kerosene lanterns. This light will allow the children to study for school during times, that before, they were unable to.
Ananda Solar Technologies is distributing CFL light bulbs in Nuna Majra village. We are offering these at a reduced rate as part of our electrical conservation educational program. This village has been selected to be part of a government program that is creating model modern villages. These model villages are being upgraded with cement streets, underground water piping and underground electric distribution systems.
Ananda Solar Technologies is proud to announce a partnership with Tata BP Solar. We are now a distributor of their long line of renewable energy products. To view these products click here.
Our Research and Development team is currently producing many exciting new products.
- Solar
Tracking Technology: We
are finalizing our patented solar tracking technology. It
promises to be less expensive than anything presently available.
It makes normal photovoltaic panels 30% more efficient.
It will also be a great boon for emerging concentrated
photovoltaic technology.
- Concentrated Photovoltaics: We are also working on a new concentrated photovoltaic technology that should be more efficient than other similar technologies. Current concentrated photovoltaic panels do not produce electricity as well as they could under cloudy conditions or in areas with air pollution. Our new technology will take full advantage of diffused and/or direct sun rays.
